    • Introductions

    • Tour our Lab to get inspired!

    • Outline the final project

    • Familiarize everyone with their workstations

    • Learn the basic computer programming constructs

    • Build session 1 LED electronic circuit

    • Program session 1 code

MILESTONE: LED's blinking back and forth

    • Review previously learned programming concepts

    • Learn basic electronic circuit constructs

    • Introduce servo motor concepts

    • Build session 2 servo electronic circuit

    • Program session 2 code

MILESTONE: Student is able to move a servo back and forth using input from a potentiometer

    • Review programming concepts of servos and LED's

    • Program servo with LED code

    • Introduce audio file and component concepts

MILESTONE: Student is able to move a servo back and forth, and as the servo moves to its outer points, it turns on a corresponding LED

    • Review audio concepts

    • Students choose their sound effects and setup their micro SD cards

    • Build session 4 electronic audio circuit

    • Program session 4 audio player

MILESTONE: Student is able to play a sound clip (sound effect) from their MP3 module using a push button

    • Review all programming concepts from all sessions

    • Program final project servo with led code and audio effects

    • Show and tell

    • Lessons learned and Q&A

MILESTONE: Student is able to move a servo back and forth using input from a potentiometer, and when the servo reaches it's outer most points, a corresponding LED lights up and a sound effect plays indicating the servo has reached it's destination
