Pirates Themed Bathroom

Here we have our pirates themed bathroom experience! We love pirates of the carribbean and whats better than when you walk into your bathroom, to have the experience that you just walked onto the black pearl which is being attacked by the dreaded Kraken! When someone walks into the bathroom, a PIR sensor detects motion and starts the sequence. The sequence will first play about 10 seconds of lightning sound effects and visual effects on the wall while slow showing the dreaded Krakens eye. After the lightning sequence is done, the process will then switch to playing one random pirates themed songs. When the song is done, the process will end until the next person comes into the bathroom.

  • Arduino uno R3

  • PIR sensor

  • LED strip lights

  • DF Player mini with speaker output for audio output

  • 3D printed Kraken legs done on Creality CR10 pro v2 and then painted

  • Faux wall done with panels from Home depot and raised form wall to provide the 3d effect

  • Vinyl sea picture purchased online

  • All code was custom written for this scene
